NEW ERA CLASSES:
KETTLEBELLS - Kettlebells are a great tool in all areas of fitness. This dedicated class to the kettlebell teaches you many exercises, working at a medium to high intensity. This classes is very effective at growing and developing lean muscle, and is great for burning fat.
KEEP FIT - Our keep fit class is aimed at those who are over 50 years old, although all ages welcome. Keep fit is a gentle class working at a low intensity, and is aimed at those who have never/haven't done much fitness before, are returning to exercise after a long time, or for those who enjoy gentle exercise in a fun and social environment. The majority of our members to this class stay for tea (and cake...shhh!) after each class.
STUDENT ONLY WORKOUT
BOX BLAST - Interval training using gloves, pads and boxing stands. Working in pairs or individually, you'll definitely get a sweat on the feel the burn is this fast paced workout. A great stress buster too!
PILATES BARRE- Pilates Barre is a combination of Pilates and Ballet, focusing on isometric strength. This class is great for improving your pelvic floor and flexibility, as well as improving posture and bone density.
GYM TEAM - A 45 minute gym based, student lead classes using our gym rooms. You lead the way as you tell our instructors what you would like to improve, and we help and show you how to do it. Whether you want to get stronger, or leaner, bigger, smaller, faster etc, we have the knowledge to help you plan your workouts effectively.
CIRCUITS - The complete whole body workout. From high intensity exercises such as sprinting, to subtle core work such as balance boards, our Thursday Circuits introduces new challenging exercises weekly to keep the mind and body guessing. Full body benefits including improving the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, burning lots of calories, improving the strength, power, and flexibility of our muscles, and our co-ordination.
Functional Fitness - A functional workout that uses everyday movements to challenge us and make us fitter and stronger. Usually taught in a circuit format, exercises can be tailored for individual needs
HIIT & ABS - A high intensity class that gives the whole body a thorough workout! From burpees to mountain climbers, crunches to leg raises, this class leaves everyone walking out with a great sweat! One of if not THE BEST class for burning calories and fat, all day long!!
YOGA - A fun and dynamic yoga class suitable for all ages. Vinyasa is a flowing style of yoga where one posture flows to the next. Yoga not only helps us relax and improve our flexibility and posture, it also helps develop muscular strength.
MASH UP - A different workout every Saturday. Mash up is what it says on the tin, a good mixture of a variety of exercises and fitness techniques. From Boxing to Kettlebells, the fun is not knowing what is coming up next! A great calorie burner, with big smiles guaranteed!
