Below are descriptions of all of our classes, placed in alphabetical order. To find out the times of the classes, please see our class timetable.
Aqua Aerobics (Chris)
A fun and inclusive water session to music. Join us for a fun warm up, cardio and resistance sections, finishing with a relaxing cool down and stretch. Fun for all levels and abilities. We change the exercises each session to keep it fun and varied!
Pilates Barre (Liz)
Pilates Barre is a combination of both Pilates and Ballet. It focuses on isometric strength ( holding positions) as well as helping to improve core/pelvic floor strength. It also has other benefits; improves posture and flexibility.
Joggers group is a class designed to help encourage people to start running or for those that are already running, to help maintain there cardiovascular fitness. It is suitable for all abilities and ages. We will run around different locations of Falmouth, with a variety of different inclines and terrains. You can walk or run!
Gym Team (Chris)
This is a class based in the gym environment, using a range of different equipment. A variety of different training methods will be used to help improve both muscular endurance/strength and cardiovascular fitness. It also helps to improve technique as well as giving you the confidence and knowledge to go into the gym environment in your own time!
Bells, Bars & Balls (Chris/Jaz)
Also known as triple B! This weights based class will improve your posture and technique when using weight based equipment, leading to improved muscular strength and endurance, making your muscles strong and toned! Varied exercises will help you improve every week!
Box Blast (Chris)
Interval training using gloves and pads. Working in pairs or individually, you'll definitely get a sweat on and feel the burn in this fast paced workout. A great stress buster too! Suitable for all abilities!
Circuit training is a great all over workout. We set up our sessions so that you'll work on your Cardiovascular Fitness, Muscular Endurance, Muscular Strength, Core Strength & Plyometrics, and change the exercises weekly to keep you motivated and to make sure all the muscles improve.
High Intensity Interval Training. Total Hit is a class designed to push your body to its limit. Interval training is a routine that alternates short intense anaerobic exercises with lower intense recovery periods, and is a great way of increasing your cardiovascular performance. Regular attendance will benefit your athletic condition, will dramatically reduce your body fat, and leave your muscles looking toned.
Step Conditioning (Jan)
Aerobic based class using fitness steps and a variety of body weight and Kettlebell exercises. A great class to get a sweat on and burn lots of calories!
Keep Fit (Chris)
A class especially designed for the over 50's or for those new to exercise. The purpose of Keep Fit is to improve to mobility, range of movement and general health of people aged over 50. No one should have to struggle to walk to the shops or up and down the stairs. By regularly performing a few simple exercises, people can really notice a difference in their daily lives. The class doesn't just make daily tasks easier, it also works on balance and stability which in turn boosts confidence. Why not relax and catch up with friends over a coffee afterwards for just £1.
A weights based class that also gets your heart pumping! Follow a series of exercises that will work the whole body, increase strength, help tone the muscles and is also a great fat burner. Available in 45 minute classes.
Kettlebells & Abs (Chris)
Blast your abs on top of an already heart pumping, muscle toning class that will work your whole body.
A workout designed to build up strength in your core muscles for better posture, balance, flexibility and back pain management.
A dynamic full body workout that focuses on improving flexibility and core strength with exercises that stretch and tone all muscle groups.
A well rounded workout with the aim to stretch and relax the body.
Saturday Mash Up (Catherine)
Saturday Mash Up includes a range of cardio, toning and fat burning exercises that will work the whole body, and leave you feeling energised. Lots of variety, energy and fun!
A combination of Strength & Conditioning exercises and High Intensity Cardio to both strengthen muscles and strip fat. Think Lunges, Planks, Kettlebell Swings and a sprinkling of Burpees!!!!
If you want to tone up and get fit fast, this class is for you.
A fitness class combining Yoga, Pilates and Functional Movement to Strengthen, Stretch and Develop Core Stability.
Re-Balance your joints and Move Better!
Yoga - Vinyasa (Ness/Bess)
An energetic and playful class based around poses to help strength and condition for a more active lifestyle finishing with a restorative focus to calm both body and mind.
